As the summer holidays are coming to an end, finding your center again before you embark on achieving your goals for the end of the year is a must. Exclusive Venue has been working on setting up a new kind of offering in partnership with the best experts in wellness in Hong Kong. The Exclusive Retreat is a full day experience in one of our private villas. The day is organized as a retreat, around the idea of disconnecting from your life, to gain further clarity. The approach is practical with professionals from various backgrounds, all united by the same objective: achieving wellness through mind and body exercises.

For this first edition, we are happy to announce we partnered with Joint Dynamics. The day is divided into different sections to provide a holistic approach to ensure our guests have a fulfilling experience. You don’t have to stress anymore organizing different activities, having to reach out to various coaches or professionals. We wanted to facilitate this process by integrating in a one-day retreat the tools and guidance one needs to unwind and get some perspective. Whether you are looking for a good idea for a day well spent between friends or whether you are a working professional wishing to organize a corporate event for your VIP customers or as a teambuilding experience, we got you covered!

The day starts at 8:30am in Landmark in Central for pick-up. Convenient and easy, come in your gym clothes, just bring your sunnies, swimsuit, some sunscreen and a change for dinner. 30mins only and here you are in a stunning modern villa, nestled in the lush jungle of Sai Kung! No need to eat beforehand, there will be a breakfast to welcome you. Morning will be all about yoga – mini yoga retreat if you will. An hour-long class will be given by the holistic life coach of Joint Dynamics, Ziggy. Ziggy has been a personal trainer and group instructor for 10 years, specializing in pre- and post-natal exercises. Since joining Joint Dynamics, her focus is as a women’s health personal trainer and yoga instructor. The class will be followed by one hour of breathing techniques called Breathwork.

There will be a break before lunch: time to finish that book or socialize a bit. At 12:30, our chef will serve a healthy Balinese-style lunch.

The afternoon will start with a Q&A on stress management by the resident psychologist at Joint Dynamics. Kathryn has extensive experience on mental health matters with a focus on holistic wellness. Her open-minded, all-encompassing approach helps people deal with life transitions, adjusting to physical difficulties, self-confidence and managing change. It is particularly important to consider these topics today after the pandemic and its various impacts on our professional and personal lives.

Afterwards, the co-founder and director of Joint Dynamics will give a movement session.
Andrew is a trainer, lifestyle coach and educator in health, fitness, and high performance. His focus is leading a change towards proactive health in order to sustain higher levels of vitality and performance in day-to-day life. He works comprehensively with individuals, teams and corporations as every agent in society can benefit from his approach.

The last activity, time to relax, will be sound healing by Cheryl, who is the resident healer at the Four Seasons. An expert in soothing the senses with gongs, Cheryl’s “music” promotes a deeper meditative state, stillness of the mind, and balancing of the chakras. Here, relaxation of the body is achieved by sound meditation. This is the meditation retreat and relaxing retreat of the journey combined. Sound healing can calm your mind from the hectic urban lifestyle with harmonic vibrations and ground you.

Protein shakes and healthy snacks will be distributed afterwards as everyone takes a break before dinner. Finish the day with an early Balinese-style dinner with live music, time to relax in a casual and caring atmosphere. You will be dropped off at 8:30pm back to Central in Landmark after a beautiful relaxing, meditative day.
